A staple in the LGBT community in Kansas City for nearly 20 years, Daisy Buckët has entertained audiences around the country and internationally. In 2019, Daisy also won The Pitch Magazine's Best Drag Queen in Kansas City and won again in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, she was recognized by the Heartland Men's Chorus as their first Hero of Note for her support of the chorus and their mission and has hosted several of their acclaimed holiday concerts. Daisy recently served as Honorary Co-Chair for the 35th Annual AIDSWalk Kansas City and has raised well over $100,000 dollars for the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City over the years.
Most known for her role as the lovable beehived Trampolina in America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet, The Kinsey Sicks, where she's appeared with them on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen, RuPaul's Drag Race (Season 8 Finale), and ABC's The Gong Show. They've garnered high praise from Forbes Magazine, The New Yorker and had a featurette on CNN. In 2023, they released their eleventh album, Drag Queen Storytime Gone Wild!.
Daisy's also appeared as Winifred Sanderson in the widely-acclaimed drag staged reading Hocus Poke Us! (2014-2023) and has starred in various local drag productions including Cluelessness (Cher), The Alternative Facts of Life (Blair), Golden! Girls Gone Wild (Blanche Devereaux). Her most recent credits include Redesigning Women with Late Night Theatre at The Unicorn Theatre, co-starring as Bette Midler in Barbra & Bette: Together Again for the First Time at the Jewish Community Center, and co-directed La Cage aux Folles (Music Theatre Heritage).
She's released two albums: Pansy, The Pitch's Best New Local Album (2018) and Best 7" Single ("Pansy") and Welcome to Springfield, The Pitch's Best New Local Album (2023).
Daisy created Musical Mondays at Missie B's, Nightingales at Nighthawk (below Hotel Kansas City), Caftan Cabaret at Enzo in the River Market, and has been a recurring guest judge for Hamburger Mary's Drag Survivor. In August 2026, she joins Virgin Voyages as The Diva on the Valiant Lady.
